If you could pick one person that just inspires you to do makeup looks or try out specific products or makeup looks, who would you pick? Why?
I would probably pick Kat Von D. Her style and her color choices are simple, edgy and beautiful. And she does them easily which is amazing.
And the Pixiwoo sisters never cease to amaze me. They're so creative.

The Pixiwoo sisters definitely know how to transform themselves! I absolutely adore them. Of course, I have to say the obligatory Kim Kardashian, but another lesser known but super favorite is HollywoodNoirMakeup on YouTube. I only wish she posted videos more often.

Arrrrgh... too many to choose from...
I love Bubzbeauty for her more natural but pretty makeup looks
I love Michelle Phan for her range of different ones... especially the more fun but not "over the top" ones.
I love xSparkage because she inspires me to have the confidence to go out in the bold, bright colors that I love so much
In a less youtube-y way, I love the looks many Jrock bands wear which can range from dark to bright and often features fairly dramatic eyeliner.

It used to be Lauren Luke but Kandee Johnson took her spot! & no one will ever replace Kandee. [=

Lauren Conrad for everyday. I love that she likes to look really natural. I also like Kim Kardashian when I want to go more sultry, and when I want a classic look I always look to Audrey Hepburn.

I like Kim K's makeup looks. I think what stands out the most to me is the contouring. It absolutely can change the shape of a face if done right. Although, like Kaylee just mentioned, Kim does have more a sultry makeup look like 90% of the time. But her makeup is always so perfect!

Joan Jett and Kat Von D for more alternative looks but other than that it's not really a specific person :)

@Christian: I agree, I love how she always has a flawless face, and her eyes always look VERY well blended.

I must be missing something. Last time I payed close attention to Kat Von D was during the Miami ink era and her makeup was a mess! I'm amusing she's gotten better - well, OBV. if she has her own line. haha

@Andrea G. Yeah, that was around the time she was going through a bit of a hard time, but she's definitely much better now so that's probably why she wasn't looking very well then :)
