I'm getting one tonight and.. I have a pool party tomorrow night! Will it be okay to go swimming? Sorry if this sounds silly... I've just never gotten a spray tan before! &Do you have any advice for things to do before spray tanning? Haha I don't know if that makes sense! :) Sorry, I'm just anxious!

I have gotten about 4 spray tans. I would NOT suggest going swimming the next day. I stopped spray tanning because i ended up having to get more than one in one week! They fade so fast and they are splotchy on my skin. I have naturally tanned skin(olive) and i got the lightest tan possible for my first time. The splotchyness was still there and you could so tell. (it was kind of embarassing) I wouldnt suggest even getting a spray tan if you have lighter skin. I used the VersaSpa tan. I liked the experience of getting the spray tan (it was really cool!) but i didnt really like the outcome. In the shower.. you will see it come off. Mine faded in 2 to 3 days. As well as it fading.. mine actually started pealing in spots! like, as if you were to peal if you got sunburnt, the coloring was pealing off! ou could see my natural color coming through! it was so wierd. I wouldnt recommend it :( i was so excited because i didnt wanna use a tanning bed (still dont) and i thought this was a great alternative but i wouldnt get another one in my opinion. And they were getting way to expensive! 40.00 a week!! ugh. Thank gosh its summer!
