Oh. my. gosh.
I have had blackheads on my nose since I was around the age of 10. It's almost as if they're all still the same ones from that age. I can NOT get rid of them, or get my nose pores to shrink!
I was prescribed the Clindamycin Phosphate and Benzoyl Peroxide gel creme, but it's not working at all.
Any ideas?

Pore strips, perhaps?

Well the best way to get rid of those pesky things, is to squeeze them out! BUT! Don't try it yourself unless you've been taught the right way. I went to esthetician school, and learned how to. Doing it the wrong way could cause damage to the follicular walls of the pore, and scarring. So if I were you, I would find a spa or beauty school that practices on real clients, and ask if they have an acne facial. During those, they usually spend part of the time getting rid of the blackheads for you. They steam your face for a little to open the pores, and then get to work:) lol. Or for an at home regime that may work: try 2-3 times a week, at night, taking a warm washcloth and putting it over your face. After a while, it should loosen them some. But honestly I'd recommend getting them squeezed out by a pro. It can be pricey, but it wasn't until I learned how to squeeze them out that I got rid of them. I had the same problem you do!

Biore pore cleansing strips work well.

I agree with all the support for pore strips (in combination with your med routine). Steam your face first for even better results.

Haha you've inspired me. I'm going to do a video on how to properly get rid of black heads. I'll have to find something to simulate a blackhead though, as using a person's would probably be very gross for some people to handle lol

I have tried the Biore pore strips and they don't do jack for me :( The Mint Julep mask used to work WONDERS on my nose but now it doesn't. My cousin is actually going to a school for being an esthetician so I may just do that!
And if you do a video I want to see it. :P

I was about to say to use the Mint Julep mask but I see it it no longer works for you. :( That's too bad bc I swear by that stuff! -- but I believe you can purchase black head extractors!!
Have you tried steaming your face before the mask? It helps open up pores & makes the mask penetrate into your skin a lot better. Esp if you stopped a while ago, since skin becomes easily immune to products. Try it one more time? You might get those great results again!

Tea Tree Oil works amazingly. Not only does it moisturize but it has acidic properties that helps dissolve dirt (black heads) and protects you from getting more. It might take a couple days but it works wonders. It also helps to get rid of/prevent acne. You can get it at most pharmacies or beauty supply stores. I get mine at cost-co. It's not very expensive. It just has a bit of a strong smell so you would probably want to use it at night.

I have blackhead problems as well, and after steaming my face to open my pores I use Boot's Botanics conditioning clay mask. It has black clay in it which is really wonderful for pulling out impurities. The only downside is that it's quite a small bottle, but if you're just wanting to use it on your nose it should last a little while. You could also do a search on Etsy.com for black clay masks (you'd more than likely find something a little cheaper than the Boot's)

I've heard alot about tea tree oil...I think I'll definitely go out and buy some of that!
As for a black clay mask, I'll probably look online for one and order it next month!
Thank you guys SO much for the help :)
It's highly appreciated.

Try taking a hot shower or steam your face. And then use an extracter tool (I show you what it looks like at the end of this video if your interested: http://www.youtube.com/user/Makemeupology?feature=mhee#p/a/u/1/xnfnielo6aM ). Use the flat end to push out the black heads. Don't try to get them all out in one try. Work on your nose for about 5 mins a day. Anymore could be too irritation. Also, the ones that do not come out will only be closer to the surface the next after some gentle pushing with the tool. Works like a charm for me. Even the most stubborn black heads are out in about 4 days. For treatment, although I know you said you were already prescribed something, try EMC2. I got it for FREE! And its amazing! If you're interested about it and how to try it out for free check out my other video: http://www.youtube.com/user/Makemeupology?feature=mhee#p/a/u/2/IsITPRxXUhM I also have heard a lot of good things about tea tree oil....however I have not tried it myself.

If you have a Trader Joe's in your area you can pick up a bottle of Tea Tree Oil for like $5.00... I have one myself and use it periodically for breakouts. It works! Just watch your eyes, hurts like crazy if you get any in there (or sometimes even the fumes from the oil irritate mine). Good luck!

I swear by a combination of steam, Julep mask, Biore strips and tea tree oil. Not all at once, but switchin the rotation up. I find that if I use just one product, it's not long before it stops working magic.
