I love CND Solar Oil but Burt's Bees Cuticle Cream is excellent on the go! I don't like the CND Solar balm because it smells like rice starch and the Lush Lemony Flutter smells a bit strange too.

Hmmmm I've heard a lot of good stuff about the burts bee one. I might have to try that out! It's not only or sticky right?

Using petrollium jelly(vasaline) works wonders for me. I swear by this method! It really does keep my cuticles moisturized and it shouldn't cost you anything is you have some sitting around in your house

An oil manicure once a week. Basically you get a nail bowl (about 99 cents at Sally's Beauty and under $2 at most beauty supplies). Take your 1/4 cup favorite oil - olive, almond, Vitamin E - and pour it into a glass microwavable bowl and microwave for 10 seconds and check to see if it's warm. If it's not then microwave another 10 seconds. Do NOT boil the oil, you just want it warm enough to dip your fingers comfortably. Once it's warm pour the oil into the nail bowl and dip your clean and disinfected nails into the bowl and let soak for several minutes (no longer than five minutes). Remove your fingers and with the opposite hand massage the oil over your hand and up your arm. Take a clean hand towel and gently blot the remaining oil off. Keep in mind that the nails WILL be soft until the oil is fully absorbed if you have natural nails. If you have artificial you shouldn't be worried about it.
If concerned about soft nails or artificial nails then dip nails in bowl for only a minute or two.
