My hair is naturally curly and the easiest way for me to achieve beachy waves is the scrunch some Bumble and bumble Texture into damp hair and then mist it with either Bumble and bumble Surf Spray or Joice Design Texture spray (I have better results with the Joico). You can get a similar effect with the same products by curling different sized sections of your hair and then finger coming through them a bit so they're more pieced out.

If you are wanting to create them over night one thing I like to do is put a little bit of gel on damp hair and just scrunch it up a couple of times. After putting the gel in I just spray it a couple of time with some sea salt spray and scrunch that into my hair. Then I grab a bunch of bobby pins and take small sections of my hair and act like im scrunching them up but when the section of hair gets to the top of my head I grab two bobby pins and pin the section to my head. And then just do that last step to the rest of my hair. After I've pinned all of my hair I just squirt the sea salt spray a couple more times and then I sleep on it.It takes a lot of bobby pins to pull this off depending on how much hair you have. And of course you'll look silly, but who's really going to see you? I hope this helps! :) Oh, and make sure you use the sea salt spray sparingly, don't go too overboard with it because it can make your hair look very dried out.

I swear by my hair oil, my hair is very thick and coarse so can take a good palm full! Kim Kardashian uses it too apparantly!
