in between every client...for my personal brushes i clean then between every application. can't stand using dirty brushes and mixing colors

For makeup artists they have to be stringent about cleaning their brushes. If you're only using them on yourself I try for once a week but you can spot clean as often as you like.

I spot clean them before each use with my MAC brush cleaner, I deep clean them once a week with an antibacterial soap.

I stand w/ Mai on this one: MUAs need to clean after every use on any client. For personal use, 1x per week is fine.
