My favorite brands from the drugstore is Milani, Wet n Wild, Revlon & Rimmel London. Maybelline has some nice shades but the smell bothers me. The only MAC lipsticks I have are ones that were Limited Edition.

The best one I ever tried is Urban Decays old lipstick formula that they stopped last year. I haven't got to try their new ones yet, but am super excited to, I hope they are as good.

To tell you the truth I like nyx lipsticks better than Mac. Crazy right!!after that I would say wet n wild, Milani,maybelline,nicka k, and revlon.

Seems like wet and wild is a winner! I've never been a lipstick lover because a lot of the ones I've tried are super drying, so I've always worn gloss. Is it safe to say that since so many of you like it, its not drying? :)

The new Urban Decay lipsticks are fantastic. I only have a mini sample of one color so I can't name favorite shades yet but the formula is great. Not drying, super, super pigmented and it stays on very well even without using a lip liner. If I set mine with translucent powder I'm good to go for hours. I only have one MAC lipstick but I like them too. Not anywhere near as much as UD though lol.

Anything from MAC or Sephora because they are SUPER pigmented. My fav is Mr Lover by sephora, it's a gorgeous bright pink.

I agree with Wet n Wild! I love Milani lipliners, they're my favorite and only about $5 or less. The $2 lipsticks have been impressing me more than the massive amounts of lipstick I splurged on (over 10 times that cost)! I don't think I have to buy any high end lipstick now unless its for a special or specific color!
Revlon was definitely my favorite before I tried Wet n Wild. I still buy and use tons of Revlon, I really can't go wrong with them =) I'd say they're about $8-9 a tube, but I often buy them when they have awesome deals at CVS (buy one get one or "extrabucks" back when you purchase a certain amount)
I really like, not love, but really like NYX lip colors. I do LOVE their soft matte lip cremes, but their lipsticks don't impress me as much. I do think they're better than a lot of high end lipsticks I've tried though. I wouldn't say they cost anymore than $5-6.
I do like OCC liptars a lot too =)
Not too sure how I feel about the new UD Revolution Lipsticks-beautiful, but the one I tried feathered *a lot* even with lipliner... but I do really want to love them, so I will be giving them another try.

Drugstore is Milani and NYX for me. High end is Too Faced (moisturizing and super pigmented, but not many color options), MAC (depending on the shade), and the new UD lipstick is amazing. I've only got a sample but its well pigmented and it lasts for such a long time. I think the only reason mine came off is because I was kissing my boyfriend a lot, but that was after maybe 10 hours of wear.
