Any tips and tricks on promoting yourself as a freelance? Like where to advertise and how? What are some good places or websites? And who should I talk to about my business to get it going?

I would start with friends. give them some of your business cards to give to their friends and family. give them to family as well and they can give some to their friends, etc.

Something that REALLY boosted my profile is creating a facebook page for your freelance makeup artistry! Post lots of photos of the work you've done, promote yourself and get the word out about your talents :)

Hello! One thing I've been doing is adding watermarks on pictures I post online. The watermark is my Instagram Profile and after I post my pics, I usually get 3-7 followers after! :) You should have an email on your instagram info so if people like what they see, they can contact you.
