So most girls and I seem to get acne lot when we get our periods. Any thoughts on how to get rid of the acne or decrease it at that lively time of month? :/

Honestly just having and continuing your normal skin routine if you have one should be good. just keep your face clean and no hand touching.

I always find that stress breaks me out more during the monthly period as obviously the cause is hormonal changes so I try and stay as calm as possible! If I can help it lol! Also drinking plenty of water is a must it detox's my body and gets rid of toxins. And diet also is a massive factor when we are due on or during the period I crave more sugary foods which contributes to acne during the time of the month. And the last thing is just being more aware of bacteria as your body is already producing hormones I just make sure I don't touch my face and wash makeup brushes more.

I would just keep doing what you normally do, maybe exfoliate your skin more because you know that most people break out around that time. Drink water, eat healthy, try by to stress out because it can get worse. :)

Exercise! Running makes bloating go away, and acne magically disappears with time exercising :)

Every lady has said it already but #1 drink plenty of water. During that time of the month your body automatically retains water so it's not flushing out your skin as much. Also, taking a supplement such as evening primrose oil can help regulate hormones (speak to your doctor first) which might help. Other than that just get plenty of rest and take care of your skin as you normally would.
Also - as for spot treating, make sure to avoid benzoyl peroxide or any drying products unless you are significantly oily in the area of your breakout (usually around your mouth and jawline). Look for things with salicylic acid of willowbark exract. I am in love with Indie Lee's Blemish Stick as I can just throw it in my bag and apply throughout the day over or under makeup. http://indielee.com/shop/face/blemish-stick. Hope that helps!

A low dose birth control can really help with hormonal acne. Talk to your OBGYN about your concerns!

Eat healthy, and exercise. Exercise is actually very great during that time of the month and will help with cramps. You get acne around that time because of the hormonal imbalance in your body. Birth control should help this.
