Re-decorating my room, help!

I'm redecorating my room after Christmas, don't really know what I want for it.
I have a medium-size room with a single bed (might be keeping), a desk (which I'm going to get rid of and exchange for a chest of drawers), a wardrobe (getting rid of) and a bookcase (most likely keeping).
I have a purple (not lilac or deep purple) carpet, which I'm keeping, but everything else I can change.
Colour schemes (I'm thinking about an off-white colour for my walls), wallpaper designs (I have to have wallpaper cos my walls are in really bad condition), decorations (pictures, hangings, wall decoration type things, wall stickers/decals,etc), curtain ideas/colours. I quite like the idea of having a collage of pictures, like from birthday parties and of my friends/family/boyfriend etc, like things that can be updated:)
Just to let you know, I'm 15, and I want my bedroom to be quite mature cos I've had wallpaper with purple hearts and curtains with flowers all over them for the past 10 years haha:)
Pictures, shops, etc.are useful.

I might have an idea for you! Purple and offwhite go really well together, what do you think about offwhite textured wallpaper? Those with french lilly's on it! And for photoframes you could paint them purple and light grey, and hang them close to eachother but kinda randomly, you know what I mean? I wish I had purple carpet! I hope I helped :D.
