Okay, so I've been transitioning my hair to go natural for about 2 years. And half of my hair is curly, and the bottoms are mostly limp and wavy. I mostly flat iron my hair but I need style tips for my hair for when I wear it natural. & when I look up transitioning hair styles, the styles don't really fit my hair type. Like twists and braids.. Also, any hair product tips would be great.

I'm in the same boat! I'm trying to grow mine out. Best advice is take off heat. That'll allow it to grow faster. On YouTube There's tons of tutorials on no heat straightening, I actually just did one and my hair came out pretty straight. Getting your hair trimmed every six weeks will help a lot too. Honestly, I wear my hair in a bun usually. I've sworn off a Straightener until my curls are back. But if I do straighten, it's only my bangs.

Braids (fishtail, French, dutch, waterfall), buns (messy, doughnut, braid, twist), ponytails (braided, curly, pinned up), half up half down (half of your hair in a ponytail and the rest of it loose).
If you are going to straighten it, use a heat defence spray like Tresemme Heat Defence spray

The point in transitioning is to grow healthy hair!! So flat ironing is not going to help you at all. You need to moisturize it a crap ton and avoid heat like the plague. Try braids , because they generally help hide the different hair patterns! I highly suggest shea moisture products! Also try pantenes natural liner , deva curl (more expensive) and also , you could try a weave which would be a decent alternative while it grows! For some light reading for transitioning , I strongly suggest Teri LaFleshs curly like me and Lorraine massey's curly girl! Also try the curly girl method to hide the different hair patterns!
