I'm looking for a new setting powder. it can be color or translucent to just set my foundation and concealer. I have very normal skin I just haven't found a powder that works with my under eye concealer it seems like every time I put anything on top of the concealer it takes the concealer right off. I use tarte amazonian clay foundation and bounce between macs pro long wear concealer and stila concealer.

Maybe it would help if you press the powder on your face instead of brushing it on to prevent the concealer to smudge.

What powders have you tried? I've heard good things about the Coty Airspun Powder. It's translucent, and very fine. Other than that, the MUFE powder and the Elf powder are exactly the same, so either of those are good also.

Have you considered changing concealers?

I learned a trick before while learning about makeup..the mac brush 224 I believe its fluffy and is a crease brush actually but its not hard. When you are done blending your concealer which recommend you do it with a beauty blending sponge. Then before setting it with powder, blend the concealer in light motion to blend the concealer so there are not lines or creases. Finally the ben nye banana powder is great. NYC translucent powder is great too. The mac 224 is tapered blending brush. There are cheaper versions I have from target up and up brand it works just as great.

I do pat the powder on buts its like it picks up the concealer like before I put the powder you can't see any dark circles then the powder goes on and bam there they are. I've used Mac and two faced and then a bunch of drug store ones. I've tried tons of concealers because I have really thin transparent skin under my eyes so no matter how much sleep I get or water I drink I have really dark circles and so far these concealers are the best I've had covering them up so I was really hoping it was the powder but if you guys have any suggestions on the concealer that's be good too (:

I have bad dark circles myself and maybe you can try something from mehron..I use mehron and then I blend it with my blending sponge and top it off with Mac select cover up. I have darker skin and my circles are evident. I then quickly top it off with Ben nye or wet n wild powder

Go for the Laura Mercier of NARS translucent powders, they're amazing. And as for concealer, you can try the LA girl pro concealers, they have 18 different colors, give a Demi-matte finish, and stay put! I tried rubbing it after it dried, and it didn't move at all :)
