How do you fade acne scars?

Lemon juice and baking soda. Use this to exfoliate twice a week :)

Unfortunately there is only one solution for bad acne scars. My cousin (who I live with) had/has horrible acne scars. She's getting them removed with this acidic stuff that the doctor puts on her skin. It basically kills off your skin faster and you peel it like a snake. Is your acne gone? Because they can't do it if you have too much acne. I don't know how much that procedure costs but my cousin says it's a 4 out of 5. She says a 5 is natural child birth so I guess it's painful. I'm sure there are creams that can help too but no matter what if you don't do the flash acid it will take about 2 years for them to fade completelyx

You mean discoloration? Beck is talking about a glycolic peel dermatologist have much higher strengths then over the counter stuff. alpha hydrox is a great drug store brand that is a lower strength the a derm. works great no pain start w a low srrength and work up also and vitiamin c serum

You can buy professional strength glycolic acid on Amazon.com, I do my own peels at least once a month with no problems

Try raw honey masks. They have helped me so much!! I leave it on for 15 minutes to an hour, and rinse off and moisturize. My scars have faded a ton within a month!

I have to say if your new to glycolic peels do not buy a high strength, you can do some real damage. these are made for professionals or people who have had and done peels in the past. I am pretty versed in akin care and do peels weekly and I would not chance an professional strength peel at home, esp buying something on line. I will leave that to the pros

I definitely agree to be careful and read up on it, but if it were that dangerous you wouldn't be able to buy it without a license.

Chris you can pretty much buy anything online even if its dangerous. most online retailers could care less. I usually see strengths of 5-20% in stores. which is low enough to get great results without causing harm. some online retailers in amazon and eBay sell as high as 80%!! that in the wrong hands by an inexperienced user and someone who has no tolerance for it...well the results can be a absolute disaster.

I started using Witch Hazel a couple days ago now, and I can notice my scars less visible and clearer face!(: You can find it at Wal-mart!

Use it all over your far and let it sit for twenty minutes. It'll get hard but it's extremely easy to wash off. Moisturize afterwards your face will be a little red but it should go away in like 20-30 min.

Zaira, I am working with a client with the same problem. If your uncertain about getting a Peel, you can get Mandelic Acid Serum from MUAC. You start off placing on the area ever other night then change to once a night. The Mandelic Peel is gentle and for sensitive skin. The key is exfoliate. In between, don't forget to keep the face moisturized This is what I specialize in. So, if you have any questions I am here to help.
