I've bought some make up products of M.A.C yesterday and I realized they were fake after reading fake and real comparison reviews and videos...The point is what can I do now? should I use the products or throw them away( which is not a good idea because I've spent trash on them )??

I don't think it would be safe to use them unless you know the ingredients on their. Did you order them online?

@ Sandra S... it's some market that I was told about is damn cheap and sells original stuff... I think I've just been fooled badly :/

Majority of the time with fake products there is bad ingredients in there so I would not use it. See if you can return them or leave bad feedback to whoever you purchased them from.

I'd return them and get my money back. I'd also report whoever sold them to you to the corporate end of where you got them. Using fakes means you are clueless with regard to their ingredients. Do you really want to risk putting a dangerous chemical near your eyes or something that contains even remote traces of lead on your lips and skin? Please, don't use them. Health is always first priority. So sorry about your discovery. :(

It happens all the time, don't go on eBay because they sell fake stuff on their. I'm sure their is a website that sells real makeup for sale price but I totally forgot what it is called.

Well, buying something branded for really cheap, I think that was a red flag. :/ learn from this and don't fall for it again. These things are usually too good to be true. And if you can, report the seller.

EBay will at least step in when fraud is involved and paying via Paypal means you're insured through them, but I am inclined to agree that directly from MAC is always the best way to go.
Ruheen...be glad that you discovered they were fake before using them extensively. Beats a rash..right? *hug*

I agree Neha, if you are in the You.S. contact The Better Business Bureau. You'll just need to fill out a form and help spare others from the same situation.

It happened to me too! I was fooled in to thinking loads of these eyeshadows and mac viva glam lipsticks where real! it was only when I went to sell one on ebay and someone said that it wasn't tear shaped that I looked in to it! I was really disappointed as they where actually really good pigments! All I can say is now you know for future.. Put them at the back of your makeup collection and it still fools people to think you have a ton of mac! x

Report it to the police in the area you bought it. Selling counterfeit goods is a crime, and that vendor needs to be stopped. Makeup like that could be made with all kinds of crazy dangerous ingredients, and can seriously injure someone. Hold on the the products in case the police ask for them. Do not use them! It sucks that you lost your money to these criminals. :(
