I am quite unfamiliar with the usage of highlighters ( I use everything but). I hate putting creamy & texturized makeup on my face for it comes off a little tooo.. CAKEY! So I'd absolutely appreciate any feedback or recommendations on the subject. thanks much xo :)

I used to use cream highlighters but I found that they didn't blend well and they just didn't look natural. The Mac mineralize skin finish is definitely my favorite thing to use as a highlighter. It looks very natural on and it comes in a wide range of colors so you can find one perfectly suited for your skin tone. The places you want to use highlighters is right above the cheek bones, down the center of your nose and on the Cupid's bow. Anywhere the light would naturally hit your face (the highest peaks of your face) is where you want to apply highlighter. My favorite brush to use for this is the Mac 138 brush. Also applying a small amount in the corners of your eye really help to brighten up the eye area. Hope I helped!
