Help me decide on a change? Too much hair!

I'm trying to decide whether I just want a trim or a big cut & whether I want to dye it or not. If so, what color? I was thinking of a dark burgundy plum kind of color but I don't really know. Can you post pictures of haircuts and/or colors you think Would be suitable? This is the only pic I have where you can see it all because my hair is so long. I just showered. This is it naturally.

I think cutting some off so it's half way down your back would look better.

You wanted a plum shade right? So here's one that I think would look nice, or if you want a more natural look you could go for ombre.

Maybe cut a lilt bit off just above your tail bone.
I think the color you are thinking of doing would look great :) or really I think any kind if burgundy would look great on you :D

Are you sure no changes? I was thinking maybe a trim & layers. The hair dying part isn't official yet, but it's a possibility. I wanted something new for the new year. A new appearance that is.
