Opinions on cutting my hair short?

Hey, girls I'm kind of stuck in what to do with my hair(sorry this is soo long:)). So, naturally I had really curly hair but over the years I damaged it really bad because of straightening. Now half of my hair is wavy and the rest is frizzy and straight. Right now, my hair reaches my lower back, it's really long. I've been thinking of cutting it short just to try something new but if I do it I don't want to regret it. I want something that I really want so, here are two haircuts.

There are many video tutorials on how to fake short hair so if you feel iffy about how'd it look on you then I recommend you try it. Remember that when curly hair is cut shorter it the style opens more if that makes sense and remember to take care of it or do treatments in between straightening to keep it healthy and strong 😊
