Well, original ideas would be YOUR own ideas, but maybe try newspaper print nails, then get a cotton bud on a stick (the ones with the small tip) and do it like paint is dripping down your nail.

And this was what I used for the first pic. But the second one I used a kit I got from Walmart. It's was 5$. But the glitter you can get anywhere...
