It could be your hormones too there are a lot of reasons for acne maybe your products are to strong or maybe something your using doesn't agree with your skin.

Ouch. If all the products you're using contain s.acid then I can understand why its acting up. That is just way too much. You need to rotate them in your regiment with non-active products.

Oh ok that happens a lot after a illness and sometimes it takes a while for your body to recalibrate itself and go back to normal.

Try more gentle and natural products - these are really effective for adult cystic acne: willow bark cleanser (try alba botanica), witch hazel toner, tea tree oil for a spot treatment or in a lotion (try desert essence) also at night be nice to your skin with oils that moisturize n help your skin repair (try mixing jojoba, coconut or maracuja oil into your night time moisturizer - just a drop or two) switching to natural products really helped to improve my skin - another great brand for various skin problems (including acne, psoriasis, and other skin conditions) is mario badescu - their products are great and work fast when used correctly - I use the acne wash, special cucumber lotion, and spot treat with the buffering lotion n drying lotion - they also have great masks to use once a week and glycolic acid exfoliators that are great too - so try those out hope it helps!
