I started using a new acne treatment and it totally dried my face out. is there anything I can do to get rid of the dryness overnight?

I use lotion. Some may argue that it will clog your pores but it works fine for me. However, there are moisturizing face wash and moisturizer you could buy almost anywhere. The body shop has great moisturizer ever.

Burt's Bees makes a moisturizing facial, my brother is on Accutane and said it really helps!

If you wash your face well ( I use African black soap) and apply a small amount of moisturizer (I use origins) and then a thin layer (very small amount) of petroleum jelly at night, you will wake up in the morning and it will feel like Jesus Christ himself came down and laid hands on your face. In the morning, wash with gentle cleanser (African black soap!) wipe with toner (this removes any traces of the petroleum jelly left after washing and apply a small amount of moisturizer...you won't believe what a difference that makes...you can tell immediately but over time, your skin will start to heal from all the harsh products used for acne (I had cystic acne for years and used all the products and medications ).
Exfoliate a couple times a week in the morning after washing...that dead skin will be soft and ready to come off, revealing new, healthy skin!

I use either Tarte maracuja oil or Ponds dry skin cream. And if you want a natural alternative to Vaseline, Alba makes something called un-petroleum jelly. I've heard its really good.
