I'm trying to take the best care of my
skin and feel like I may be missing out on some products that I should be using. Currently during the day, I use my clarisonic, Estée Lauder eye serum, Estée Lauder day wear lotion SPF 25, then make up etc. At night I wash my face, use Estée Lauder Advanced night repair, and Estée Lauder eye serum. Anything I'm leaving out that I should use? Maybe a retinol? What do y'all use?

I'm 30 should I be using it?

Retinol is vitamin a in a stabilized form ,it makes your cell turnover speed up and if your skin can tolerate it yes you should,it's the number one anti aging product out there it diminishes wrinkles ,firms skin ,brightens dark spots and just gives you a overall glow however sum people can't use it due to skin sensitivity so start off using it 3 -days a week only at night and you must use spf 30 daily

Ok I need to run out and get retinol lol!! Traci and Shelley- what brand do you use for the retinol, vitamin c serum, and night cream?
Jay- where do you get Paula's Choice??

My retinol is from Alpha Hydrox (I start with the lowest percentage possible), vitamin c serums I have several from Dermologica, Renee Rouleau and ReVive. The Dermologica is the most affordable out of the three. Night cream...I rotate like a mad scientist so I can only list my ultimate fave...ReVive Moisturizing Renewal Cream.

Vanessa I won mine in a contest on their website. But you can purchase online from Paulas Choice website. I tried others and they all burn my skin. I love this one cause its gentle.

Traci that was an excellent explanation of retinol btw. I knew it created cell turnover but didn't know the specifics. Ty. :)

Constantly switching up products. Low end High End, but right now I'm using ROC RETINOL CORREXXION line exfoliating scrub, serum, day and night moisturizers and eye treatment. Microdermabrasion Kit twice a week and a mask once a week. My skin concerns at 40ish are way different than even my 30!s.
