My friend recommended I shave my legs with shaving cream, then go back and scrub them with olive oil+sugar mix, and then shave over that... I did.. It felt good afterwards. Has anyone else tried it??

Never heard of that, but I might give it a try. :p

Personally I soak in the shower with warm water until the stubble feels soft, but not until the skin swells up from the moisturize of the water and heat. It gives a closer shave then soaking for a whole but won't irritate as much as just going at it. I use a scrub, (any will do but I love this one by Basin at Walt Disney World). I then shave with baby oil and then lightly wash my body with a puff. That's just from advice and reading I've seen and heard. It works well, for me. Just a pain when using self tanner:p that idea you said sounds interesting, I will try but the shaving then scrubbing sounds like irritation because you're scrubbing freshly "exfoliated" (lightly from shaving) skin. But won't hurt to try!

Yes I love how it feels afterwards, but to me shaving twice is a hassle. then again I'm quite lazy :P also, I'd recommend replacing olive oil with coconut oil.
