My mascaras are always drying!! Like extremely fast ' I make sure I close them right & it's not the room temperature. I don't pump them either , so why do they always dry?!

That's weird. I have a couple questions;
1. What mascara are you using?
2. Where do you store them?
3. Do you store them sitting upright or on their side?

Air sometimes causes it to dry...you can try buying a mascara with a thinner brush so that the opening of the tube is smaller and less air gets in :)

Mascaras are only suppose to be good for a couple months, I believe.

To moisten it up boil some water and drop the mascara bottle in it for a few minutes then take it out and add a drop or two of baby oil I'd should be back to normal.

Nope I don't do that & I use Mac. I've tried Loreal & some Avon. But they all end up drying after like 2 weeks. I don't pump them at all.

I tried the whole water method before just throwing them away. They were just dry.

I store the sitting upright most of the time! & I store them in my room? Lol.

Hmm to me it has something to do with where you're storing them. If the temperature or humidity is off it could effect it. I would suggest try storing them in a different room and see what happens.

Thank you girls! I just recently bought some maybelline mascara! & I hope it doesn't get ruined & I'll try moving them to another room. I hope this one doesn't go dry on me.

How weird! I had 2 customers today at sephora, one called and one came in both complaining about there MAC mascara drying, one lady said she's been using it for almost 3 years now but her last tube dried very quickly..maybe its a formula change or a tube change? I don't know too much about the mascara from MAC so I can't give you an answer, I just thought that was really ironic haha.

Try L'Oreal Telescopic. It is my holy grail mascara, I have used it for about 4 years now! I am in love... It is not a fluffy brush like most mascaras (example: Maybelline Colossal in the yellow tube), it is a latex brush that is very thin and has small bristles that really separate your lashes and lengthen them. I've never had a problem with it drying :) I love it! It is around 9 or 10 dollars. A slightly cheaper version of it that does a very similar job is Rimmel Glam Eyes. Hope this helps! :)

My sister said adding warm water to a running out mascara will help it expand...
