Any tips or tricks for removing hair dye off of skin after it has dried?

A good oil based makeup remover. No joke. It's best to take it off as soon as possible, but eye make up remover works!
If its really stuck on there, beauty supply stores sell products specifically designed for that.

Color removes color. Dip a towel in the remainder of what you used on your hair & rub it in. If you've already shampooed, that won't work--you've basically set it in to your skin. Cigarette ash also works! Ew, but true lol!

The Vaseline around your hairline and on your ears to prevent the staining as stated above is best but if you get it on you anyway color does remove color, as also stated above. Just wanted to say it bears repeating cause it is the advice a salon would give. The "color removers" for skin IMO are lackluster in results.

use alcohol. it also works if you get dye on your tub/faucets. dab a qtip or cottonball in it and rub it on the area. instant removal. it will try your skin but just put lotion on afterwards.

So, here's the thing with hair color...
Best to remove it while you still have it on your hair. Hair color will also stain the teeny tiny vellus hair found on your face. If you didn't remove in time, you'll most likely have to wait a couple days. Next time use a base cream or even some vaseline around the hairline to prevent it.

I find any kind of hair conditioner works really well if you don't wait to long to remove it.
