I would try other treatments and skin care products first then use Botox as a last resort. Personally, I don't have anything against cosmetic procedures as long as the end result is nice.

I don't have a problem with it but you might wanna try retinol and a good peptide serum first Dr Graf Deep wrinkle serum works well on deep set expression lines.

I get it primarily for my migraines, but it has made my forehead smoother. I also use Retin A and recently Argan Oil which I've noticed has made a difference. If you do decide to take the plunge with Botox thoroughly research the physician that will be administering it. I've seen so many botched Botox jobs, and if it's not administered properly there can be horrible side effects.

No cream is going to do what Botox does, find a good dermatologist or plastic surgeon and do it! And yes do your research, but a warning it is addictive, once you see the results you will always want to get it done.

Creams will help fine lines, but yours are too deep to make the kind of difference your looking for. Rather than plunking cash down on cream, I would suggest a consult for Botox/Dysport. The cost will be approximately the same, as Dysport is dosed at 2 to 1 ratio on Botox. The biggest difference is Dysport works faster, lasts a little longer.

I'm with Traci on this one. I'd counter the dryness from Retinol with Sweet Almond Oil slathering..lol You may also want to use a filler to soften the lines. Hit up Ulta and Sephora on the web and search their sites for "filler" products and reviews.

@Yumi I feel your pain! I've suffered from them since I was in middle school. I am normally headache free for about 4 months. My dermatologist told me the Botox lasts 3-4 months so I am pretty much on point with that. Everyone is different though, because he has had patients who have only had it last a month or two. So overall it just depends. I suggest trying it out, a month of migraine relief is better than none at all in my book. If you do decide to try it out Yumi do it on a day that your not going to be to active on. Even though it's an in and out procedure they recommend that you try not look down or nod your head down to much the first 3-4 hrs to prevent any drooping that could possibly occur in the areas that have been injected. If you decide not to go the Botox route, try putting a cold compress around your lower neck when you get a migraine. It won't completely get rid if it but it helps relieve some of it so it's not as intense. Hope this info helps you out!

Don't think that I'm against botox or fillers because I'm not they do them at my job ,however they also promote good skin health and for the people who come in and are on the fence about botox or fillers they always recommend seeing how you like the results of a good skincare line, and there are peptides now that can reduce deep wrinkles ,will you get the same results as botox, no of course not but it might be enough of a change that your happy with it and botox is great for the expression lines but it does not change the texture or tone of your skin and there going to tell you to use anti aging product's to make your outcome better as I said before if my skincare stops working for me I would get it especially since I get it free lol.

My mom has gotten Botox and fillers around her mouth. It was subtle enough that you were never like, "she had work done", but she looks great! She also suffers from migraines so that was part of her reasoning. I would do it if I were you. I would do it if I had the money!

I get Botox for migraines and recently started getting it around my eyes for crows feet. I've also gotten fillers as well. I love it. Even retin a does nothing to help me as my skin is resistant to that type of stuff. It's expensive, but so worth it. You will feel amazing afterwards and it really prevents further aging. I'm pretty much sold on using them my whole life.

I could never get it myself personally but if you feel the need to try something a lil extra go for it. Myself I would worry about a negative reaction but from reading about it in dermatology journals its a fairly safe procedure provided you go to an experienced (dermo) doc to administer it.
