How do you do a sock bun with layered hair??help.

Is there any way to do a good sock bun when you hav layered hair?? please help me):  (:😁

Try doing it with damp hair and then lightly hairspraying it :)

What I do is:
Dampen my brush, have my head down and brush all my hair up as high as I can do a high ponytail an tie it, put the sock through and spread the hair around the bun, then use a hair tie, and tuck in or bobbie pin the left over strands
