I think that the shoes make it a more 'going out' look, mayby try some nude peeptoes or pumps! <3.

I would go for something a little longer and more loosely fitting :)
It looks cute though!

What is the venue? What time is the ceremony/reception? Is there a particular style to the wedding (black tie, casual, rustic, urban, etc)?
That dress is appropriate for a nighttime wedding in an urban setting. For a daytime wedding or a more formal wedding, it is not appropriate. Do you have any cocktail dresses? They tend to be more versatile.

If the wedding is formal, the dress is not appropriate. This is for more of an either casual or fun type wedding. The shoes may be appropriate if you change the outfit, but not with that dress.

I personally don't think it's suitable.. Perhaps those shoes would look good with a nude cocktail dress.. Although I would lean more towards something loose fitting a bit longer and maybe wedges or pumps.
