My hair is finally natural, and I refuse to use heat on it. I would like to have my hair curly more often but my curl pattern is curly, and wavy. I'd like something to help me have my hair looked scrunched without the harsh gel products, and crunchy texture. Any ideas??

Hey! I have naturally wavy hair, with some curl spirals in it. My favorite products are Biotera curl creme. Its is available at sallys beauty supply. I also use Loreal studio line clean gel. Both seem to really hold my curl in without leaving that crunchy texture. If you are worried about the crunchy texture you can always SOTC(scrunch out the crunch) Just wait until your hair and gel is completely dry and a scrunch until the crunchy feeling of the gel is gone. Just make sure your hair is completely dry first or it can cause frizzy fly-aways. The curl creme leaves no crunchy texture at all, it smells really good, and is really affordable...I think less than $10. I dont have to use much product so it seems to last forever. If you want to explore more about taking care of naturally curly/wavy hair there is an awesome website NaturallyCurly.com It has tons of info on it. My hair has been so much healthier since I started following a few simple tips I learned on there. I hope this healped! If you have any questions feel free to leave me a message. :)

Thank you so much lol I was hoping someone could help me soon <3 I'll def try that out this weekend and message you if I need more help. Thank yooou!

When I was natural I used some Miss Jessie's products along with some Shea Moisture Organic products. They all left my curls very defined but wasn't hard & crunchy like gel sometimes does.

Okay that's what I was a little worried about as far as the crunchiness! I'll def try that option out too thankk  yoou!!

I'm a Miss Jessie's junkie for styling products and Hair Rules for cleansing. Both do not have sulfates in their products and they are geared towards natural curly manes. Both are a little pricey but after dealing with a lot of "misses" I decided enough is enough. Only the best for this mane.

Lol thank you, and I agree, it's like I pay for products that can only to part of the job so then I'm adding even more products to make up for the ones that don't do what I need it to do in other parts in my hair

I have SUPER CURLY hair, and I mean super curly. If I DONT treat it I actually look like an electrified cartoon, no joke. I have tryed a lot. loreal, dove, pantene, paulmitchel, matix essential, and a bunch more, so far the only things that some what tames my hair with out leaveing it crunchy and super oily is Avons "lotus shield" anti frizz treatment. It dosnt give me super model hair but it dose help taime it with out puting in a bunch of stuff. I just use that and 2 or 3 smooth and shine capsules to give it a nice glow and get a few of those stray hairs.
