I'm 12 and so inexperienced at painting my nails. Every time I paint them, I either get the nailpolish on my fingers or cuticles, or smudge it! Whenever I try a French with polish it drips onto my fingers lol! Any tips or advice to help a beginner?? Thanks xxNataliexx(:<3.

You should concentrate on just getting a smooth line. It doesn't matter if it gets on your cuticles or fingers because it'll come off when you wash your hands or in the shower. I wouldn't try french since your a beginner. It'll just overwhelm you. Stick with the basics at first. The rest will come in time.

Its normal for you to get nail polish on your fingers or cuticles, with practice that will change. You can always use a q-tip dipped in nail polish remover to clean it. Use tape for a white tip. And try to not take a lot of polish on the brush that way it doesn't drip. (: Good luck!

I hate painting my nails! I'm really bad at the base but I can make any design in the world. And somthing I have developed over the years is that Elmer's glue is my best friend! Get a bottle just the regular craft glue and a small paint brush. Befor you paint your nails put glue on the outer edges of your finger right where it meets the nail. Don't get it on the nail. Let it dru completely! Then paint way. After you have your nail polish dry and your done peel off the glue.

When painting, leave a little gap between your polish and cuticle, the on each side if the stripe down the middle, bring the brush around in a rolling motion. Hope I helped. If you have questions, just ask :) xoxo.
