I want to get my stiletto nails done.:) but I was wondering which one is better, acrylic or UV gel? I want them to last a while so that I don't have to be going to the nail salon every two weeks! ( I am so busy!!)

Honestly, both will send you back to the salon in two weeks. However, if you're concerned about the health of your nails, the gel is better.

Gel is suppose to be better for your nails but that depends if the nail technician puts a drill to your bare nails bc that's what causes the nails to be thin. If you want them to last acrylic is better bc it's stronger than you've gel. If you don't want them to lift then don't pick at then and wear gloves when dealing with liquids bc the liquid can get in between the natural nail and acrylic and cause it to lift.

To be honest both thin your nails a lot I go back to get a fill in every 3-4 weeks.. I've had stilettos for months & I get acrylic & love them.

Sorry for the late response, (new to beautylish) but it was about $100 and I decided to do it since this is probably only a once-a-year thing. But I'm planing on saving the gems when I get the polish removed and reusing them!
