I understand what you're saying but stop blaming everything on the parents. They're not bad parents because their kids are wearing makeup (that's just a ludicrous assumption tbh).

I hate to see young girls wearing heavy makeup (I.e. a full face) too though. It's just a joke.

I was thinking about it 2day. I am 13, and I am NOT a "grown up" either, but I didn't wear ANY makeup when I was 10. I only started it at the end of fith grade when I started having pimples, and I was only playing around with makeup. Moreover, I don't really think most of them NEED makeup.

Taylah how old are you?

Wow there's a lot more that you guys wrote while I was typing that didn't come up! To be honest no one has a right to judge someone from their sexual experiences? The most I've done is kissed because that's what I believe is right, but I don't think people are gross or stupid for going further. I think that everyone is just going through phases at this age! All I know is I doubt that you guys would say "ew this girl I know cuts and blah blah blah" you would try to help if you knew someone self harmed, right? Well it's sorta the same concept. The person is doing something that they like/that releases pain/that is rebelling and are potentially hurting themselves. Even if you don't think it's right you don't have to bash it. How would you like it if they made you feel bad about being a virgin? "Ew Taylah's a virgin, what a prude, lol no one will do that" It's just as bad. Think about what you're saying girls...

There's a difference between self harming and wearing makeup.

Taylah.. She's actually my friend lol me and her always make fun of how much makeup she wears and how skimpy her clothes are. Her parents want her to dress like that. I also never said anything that was "wrong" with her I just said she's 13. Cause she looks a lot older than 13. So please don't go assuming things. And also read before you say something. Okay? Thanks.

And taylah.. Are you seriously saying its okay for a 13 year old to have sex and give blow jobs? Yeah no.

Taylah K.

Oops! Katherine you didn't say it was wrong someone else did... But why would you subject your friend to this? Like we were talking about appropriateness and the only things that would have been said would have been negative? You surely would have known that...

Dana I meant sleeping around/participating in sexual activity and self harming

Taylah it's okay but I was just implying that I think it's skimpy and she wears too much makeup and I actually have told her that but we laugh about it

I said that I don't believe it's right but I'm not in a position to judge. My friend lost her virginity at 13 and at first (I was 12 at the time) I was sorta weirded out but I've come to realise it isn't my place to say what is or isn't right for someone else.

Well my friend was actually pressured into it. But she likes wearing a lot of makeup and skimpy clothes so I don't know.

I agree that young girls do not need to cake on makeup and dive into it all at once, but there is nothing wrong with them testing the waters and learning a few tips and trying to get to know more about the makeup world.

Thank you dakota f. I don't see what's so bad about 10 year old having one of theses! I'm 12 and I don't wear makeup or want to grow up too fast. But I do like the fashion part of this app!

Girls girls girls please calm down. Now on days kids grow faster. When my sister was 15 she got her first phone and when I was 12 I got mine and now I see 9 year olds with iphones and stuff like that! Generations grow we can't stay the same old way people calm down. Let those young kids be! Let their generation grow.

I don't think they should wear makeup under 13 unless you are 11/12 and have acne then I think it is perfectly fine to use concealer!

Um any girl thats in elementary or middle school should not be wearing make up! in my opinion you shouldnt even be wearing makeup starting your highschool years but its better to start then rather to start when your in a lower grade. I'm 17, if I can deal with my bad skin and short eyelashes and ignore people that think and call me ugly all while wearing nothing on my face except lipgloss from bath and body works then I don't see why its hard for anybody younger to do the same especially if you havent even hit puberty yet and still have good skin. it bothers the hell out of me to see younger girls try to look and act older. yes clothes matter to but make up is a bigger part of it. it does have a lot to do with the parents as mookey said becuz if they werent giving their kids iphone 5s at the age of 8 they wouldnt be into everything there into now and since there growing up way faster then need be whether its "happening naturally" or not is how you end up with kids 16 and pregnant. and actually I see more middle schoolers nowadays pregnant then anybody my age. why? becuz there trying to grow up to damn fast! act your age.

Hey girls. I'm 13 1/2 and I wear mascara. I use an eyelash curler and usually concealer or foundation. What annoys me is when I see little girls with iPhones or iPods. I'm probably considered a little girl to all you but I got my ipod for my birthday when I turned 13. What annoys me is the threads about ppl asking about if they should wear concealer or foundation and then post a picture of their flawless (looks that way to me) skin. It's like NOO!! I am trying to not wear foundation. It's summer! I just wear foundation when I need it, and right now my acne is improving so I'm staying away from skin clogging things like that. I agree with Paulina, but I think you should be at least 12 before you get a phone or whatever and all that. I wasn't allowed to wear mascara (real mascara) until 7th grade. My mom let me use some clear mascara at the end of sixth grade. I get when you start breakouts early like 10 or so and you get bullied or feel insecure about your acne. But not when you have flawless skin! Enjoy young skin! No pores no pimples! It will never be that way again!
