What will happen if I use a blonde box color on my dark hair.

I bought a platinum blonde john frida box color.I would like to use it to add light brown peekaboos in my dark brown hair. Will it work? any suggestions? ik scaeed of the results?

It will almost absolutely will be orange or brassy if your hairs any darker than light brown..most over the counter box Colors do not come with a strong enough developer (what activates lightening process) to fully lift pigment from hair and sadly most are left with a muddy brassy orange type color..I suggest always leaving lightening hair up to the pros :)but good luck if you do go for it!!

With color you can only go two shades lighter usually. You really shouldn't use color to lighten your hair, especially box color. Box color isn't good for your hair. It's also hard to do precise work with a bottle of runny color. So if you do it, odds are it wilk be splotchy and orange and you'll have to pay to get it fixed.

You should lighten your hair before dying, my sisters came out very orange then we bleached her hair a little and it was perfect.
