So I recently got a $50 gift card for Sephora and I have another one that has about $7 still on it. I'm just unsure what I want, I just recently bought the Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow box which I LOVE but I have so much eyeshadow already so I'm not sure if I really need more. I don't really want to buy a foundation or concealer because I'm happy with my drugstore ones. :) I was interested in getting some kind of skincare item, but since I'm so young and they are so expensive I was wondering if you beauties think it's worth it? Or if you just have any other suggestions? Like what are your favorite products at Sephora? Sorry for all the rambling. :)

If you are buying for personal use then I would buy something new to try out. Step out of your normal comfort zone; bright lipstick or blush. Sephora has a great open return policy so you can always return it.

The nice thing is that Sephora accepts returns and exchanges on open products, so don't be too nervous to try something new :) Blushes and Bronzers are good choices becuz of Spring and upcoming Summer. Try out Tarte or Too Faced. For skincare, I like Cliniques Dramatically different moisturizing lotion (or gel if u have an oily skin complexion).. it's only about $13.00 :) OR if you're willing to spend a little more, I swear by Ole Henriksen skin products. The 'ON The Go Face Wash" is AMazing. Good luck and let us all know what you end up buying!

How about a makeup remover? You can get one an expensive one you wouldn't normally get. Also, i def recommend a high end brand mascara like Diorshow and a base for your mascara, also by Dior.

Tarte AC blushes for sure! Also, the Laura Mercier lingerie palette is a nice on the go palette... If you're looking for skin care, try the Ole Henrickson vitamin c truth serum. I love that stuff!

To make it "worth it", You should buy what you need, for skin care, check out Murad.

I would get something that you can't find an equivalent of in the drugstore! I never buy high-end lipgloss, lipstick, mascara, makeup remover, or liquid eyeliner because I honestly don't see any difference. But there are certain products that are much harder to find good equivalents of at a drugstore, like setting sprays, face primers, eyeshadow primers, luminizers, brushes, and skincare.

I love Ole Henriksen's on the go cleanser. It comes in a huge bottle that lasts a really long time, it smells like oranges and it takes off makeup!

Its never too early to start taking care of your skin! Dermologica is a great brand for skin care and Have a bunch of different formulas for different skin types. Philosophy has some pretty good products, as well as some Clinque products. Do some research before heading over to Sephora. Find out what your skin type is and then find what's best for it that you can find at Sephora. And if you're not happy with it, Sephora has a great return policy, like everyone before me said! :)
