Hi my Beautiful Beauties... I am looking for a matte red crimson or red brick lipstick to go with my light/med sometimes med/tan complextion. I used to love one by Wet and Wild but, I don't think they make it anymore and I cant even read the info on it, lol. Any ideas?

MAC sells an amazing red called 'Russian Red'. They have another one called 'Ruby Woo' as well. They're 15 dollars, but they last forever and really stay on your lips.

MAC's Ruby Woo was my first red and I love it! It's more of an orange/coral based red though. It can be pretty drying as well. But I think it's lovely! It's one of Dita Von Teese's most used reds. (If you're not familiar with her, she's a famous pinup model/burlesque dancer.) One of my favorite reds is Maybelline's Superstay Lip gloss in Wine. It's a deep red and it lasts forever!

I second Russian Red. I can't really tell the difference between Ruby Woo and Russian Red if I'm honest. Ruby Woo is slightly drier in texture. Both are completely bullet-proof when applied as a stain first and then blotted and then applied again.

I also love Rimmel Alarm - it's such a beautifully vivid red and lasts for ages too. This layered over RW or RR is my HG red lip.

I prefer Ruby Woo over Russian Red. I bought 2 lipsticks last week and I was impressed with the quality. It is from the Matte line from NYX in Pure Red and Bloody Mary.

My current favorite red is from AmazingCosmetics, the color is Scarlett. I'm always nervous with reds because I find they tend to fade/slip around/generally not wear as well as other colors, especially when they're really intensely pigmented, but this one lasts and lasts without touchups.

Wet n Wild has a really pretty one called 514A Cherry Frost but it's more of a true red/cherry red. I would check out Wet n Wild bc they have a lot of pretty red shades for very inexpensive prices! :) Revlon & MAC have some pretty reds as well.

try using Viva glam I from MAC. it's a super pretty brick red color. it's also a matte so it'll last awhile on your lips. :)

Is the wet-n-wild lippie you're looking for 911D? If so, they still make that. And Rimmel has a red created by Kate Moss, the colored is called 01, and its gorgeous and under 5 bucks!

I'm really into Illamasqua's Sangers at the moment. It's a true red, matte texture. Super longlasting and very comfortable to wear for a matte. I looooove. I think it was discontinued though :(
