I just started using MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish Natural as a powder foundation (used to use bare minerals..high recommend Mac's for any BM ladies) and I'm looking for a good primer to wear underneath that will mattify my skin/keep me shine free. I'm dry/oily combination. Can I use any old mattifying primer or are there any special mineral powder foundations like Laura Mercier's out there that would work better?

Bare Minerals prime time is actually a GREAT product, probably the best thing to come from their line in my opinion. It really holds your foundation, it's specially designed for mineral makeup too. Another great primer is Urban Decay's Deslick in a tube, NOT the spray. It really keeps your face matte and shine free! If you're looking to spend more money, I would reccoment the Makeup Forever HD elixir. It holds face makeup like a charm. :)

As previously stated, Bare Escentuals Prime Time is wonderful primer, also Smashbox photo finish oil free primer is great.
