Well your saying we need to learn about the world because we have different opinions. Everyone is untitled just like you are and that's mine that yes I agree it is wrong it's hurtful it's a bad intention but there's also much much worse things that happen and if your so passionate about moaning at someone doing something illegal why don't you take high action. That's all I'm saying. Maybe if you actually read what I was saying you would understand instead of basically saying to everybody who disagree s with you to grow up.

Basically you can't dwel on everything bad that happens but count yourself lucky that something worse didn't happen. Be positive.

I do report users who steal others work. In most cases here on BL, people have posted a photo and didn't credit the original artist, but didn't explicitly say the work is theirs. In that instance, I mention the original artist, link to them, and mention that a lot of artists don't allow others to share their work without permission. 9 times out of 10 the person adds a credit to the image. If they actively claim the work as their own, I flag it/report it.
I do the same thing if I see a non-makeup artist's work for sale/displayed by a third party. I contact the original artist and mention that I saw their work on a third party site, and let them know that it may be stolen. They can then pursue action to stop the theft.
I regularly search the internet to prevent my work (makeup or otherwise) from being stolen.
The point of this thread is to make users aware that theft of intellectual property is illegal, and will not be tolerated. If someone sees another person taking credit for work that isn't theirs, speak up! Report it, tell the original artist, and tell the thief that what they are doing is not going to fly.

"moaning about it" isn't going to get you anywhere and it's annoying. If your going to do something about it then do it, if not nobody wants to hear your sob story. So like you said a couple comments ago, either sue someone or shut up.

Yeh and if someone stole my 'vehicle' I do something straight away and report it take action I would text all my friends to moan about it. I was agree and disagreeing ovniously that didn't come across enough.

I didn't write this to stir up drama ladies, I know we all have our thoughts and opinions. sorry for not reporting it I'm in the app and don't know how to do it.
we all have our opinions on what's rude and what's not, what's right and what's wrong. now lets hug and get over it.. and go on showing our own work!

Um no actually I'm 17 and those topics are way different then this one. The people in those situations don't just complain about why their equal they actually at least attempt to do something about it. This problem on the other hand everybodys just complaining about. If you take action for someone stealing your shit then that's good but if your just someone complaining how it's wrong that's unnecessary. And if I'm 12 your acing the same age for stooping down to my level and taking to me like that. You can ignore me just as I can ignore you sooooo... Yea. Tf?

People steal people's work all the time. There's nothing you can do about it. It's very wrong, yes. But, I guarantee we have all done some sort of plagiarism and/or stealing. I can probably assume that many people on this app never even written a bibliography for an essay or let alone know what a bibliography is. What about Limewire? People used to steal LOTS of music off of there. Truth is: that's what happens on the Internet. That's why you don't post things on the Internet. Because anyone can just come along and steal it. Don't post anything on the Internet and don't expect anyone to steal it! It's ignorant.

Um if you had your car stolen you absolutely would tell people and be emotional about it. Its important fir people to be made aware of things like this that are going on.

Well if you reported the work I don't think you would keep complaining about cuz the problem would be solved right? Ok then.
