I live in New York. Most makeup schools I know say you have to have a high school diploma/ged to get in, I'm just a sophomore in High school. I wanted to get my cosmetology license while getting my high school diploma, so that I can do it as soon as I get out. I have been learning and practicing makeup for about 1.5 years now though.
