Hello guys! So, i've got this round eyes which are downturned at the outer corner (with planty of lids!) And it's really hard to find makeup techniques that suit my eye shape and dont make me look like i have "too much" going on around my eyes. (Coz everything i do makes my lids appear as big as they already are,and emphasize on the downturned corner more.)
So do you guys have any advice and tips on how to apply eyeliner/ dark shadows for downturned big brown eyes? I especially need tips on smokey eyes since i adore them for night outs and special occasions!<3

i would suggest angling your eyeshadow and eyeliner toward the tip of your eyebrow. it'll create a cat like effect that won't play up the downturn of your eyes. try creating a sharp wing instead of a loopy one. hope that helps :)

I have the same sort of eye shape and it's the bane of my existence, I tell you. I'd pretty much do anything for upwards angled eyes. I've learned a couple things through just time and experimentation-
Okay the first thing I do is a little harsh but keep in mind they always grow back - I trim my bottom eyelashes till theyre almost unnoticeable. I have remarkably long eye lashes and my bottom eyelashes actually exaggerate the roundness/downturnedness of my eyes and this makes SUCH a difference in the way they look.
NEVER wear eyeliner or any sort of eyeshadow on your lower lids/waterline..it will only draw attention to your bottom eyelids and how they droop slightly downward. obviously dont wear bottom mascara, either.
ALWAYS do a tapering cat eye that elongates the eyes width rather than the roundness. Like instead of making the line very thick all along the tops of the eyelids for most of the eye, make it very thin until you reach the very corner of your eyes, then make it thicker. you want it to be barely there until the very ends where you will upturn your eyes with a flick. also focus the mascara on the very outer edges of the lashes so that that is the most emphasized area, rather than te entire eye which will emphasize the roundness. here's an example of what my eyes look like without my bottom eyelashes/eye technique, no downturn corners! http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/406382_365288803499668_100000556543759_1351213_1508902307_n.jpg
Also, pixiewoo did a nice video tutorial on how to make round eyes appear more cat like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjSo6XzfOAA

Thanks guys!<3 I amy try that sharp eyeliner technique, ending at the tip of the eyebrow =)

@Sofia: ikr, this type of eyes can be such pain in the arse, if i may say! I really want to try different makeup things out, but this eye shape doesn't allow you to put on anything more than a cat eye, coz otherwise it doesn't look "right" and pretty on the eyes :( Sometimes i really get frustrated about them, i envy people who have upturned eyes.
And i trimmed the bottom eyelashes, that helped much! Thanks for the advices and the vid,so much help <33
