Hi! My roots came from europe and middle asia. I have a huge problems with my skin tone. Sometimes my skin looks white but sometimes it looks more asian-yellow. I would like you to know that this is not a seasonal or something with the sun. I always use 2 different foundations. gray and yellow undertone. I try to mix the colors and find the correct tone for me. I wonder that a person can have both white and yellow skin tone?

I can guarantee you, that this is not a mixed race issue (even though I am mixed race as well). The skin on my cheeks is a cool tone, while my neck and the rest of my face is warm. So I just choose to match my neck. I can't use drug store foundations because they're too pink/orange/dark.
Many people can be more neutral than warm or cool. Have you ever been professionally matched to a foundation?

nope. What foundation do you use?

You could always go to a cosmetic counter, get matched and ask for a sample to try. I always get samples before I buy a foundation, just in case I'm not a fan of the colour or texture.
I use MAC NC40 in Studio Fix Fluid, C40 in Studio Fix Powder/Full Coverage and 153 in MUFE HD Foundation.
