Is proactive solution really what it says it is? I live in NZ and I don't know anyone who has used it and so I'm curious. I have had bad acne since about the age of 10, it cleared at about 16 but now at 18 it is starting to reappear. I don't want bad acne into my adult years.

Products from drugstores or other stores dry out your skin, and that's only working as long as you use it.

It is actually destroying your skin, my brother had mild acne then tried proactive but he know has really bad acne. It is more for non hormonal acne as you can't really help it

Dermatologists aren't cheap and my local GP said she couldn't help. Might go back and ask to be referred. I think that makes if cheaper. Thanks for honest advice (:

It's horrible and does permanent damage to your skin. I used it for 1 week about 8 years ago, and I can still see how it damaged the pores around my nose.

I hated what it did to my skin, made it worse. And it was torture because it made it look awesome for about a month or so and then it broke out about 10 times worse.
