What should i do for prom? Dress pics included!

Hey everybody, I'm really stuck with what I should do with my nails for prom! My dress has a black top and the skirt is a pleated metallic silver, purple, and gunmetal ombre sort of look. I'm pretty lost, and was just going to do a basic french. Do you beauties have any ideas? :)

I think a basic french would be the best seeing as it goes with pretty much everything. You should totally do a smoky eye too! It'd look so good :)

A nice metalicy purple nail colour would be nice and it would look good with silvery smoky eye! ;)

Nice dress! I would try a twist on the typical french. Black tips, and then the gun metally/purpley color for the rest of the nail.

one of the years that I went to prom i wore a black and grey dress and I got my nails painted black with a silver tip which is basically the same thing as the french tip look. just an idea.

I love the idea, if you want to get creative, of a french mani in nude and black, with stripes of eggplant and silver along the black. It would really accent this look and appear quite polished and classy (: Have fun at prom!

Jordan I love your dress! I would say a classic french, or maybe coordinate with your jewelry. Gold or silver would look stunning with that blue!
I really like the idea of the different french Deanna so I'll probably try something similar :)
And Dylan I love that! I really wanted some nude, because of how elegant it can look, but I really wanted to incorporate the purple, silver, and black. Accenting the tips is a fabulous idea, and I think perfect for what I was looking for :) And thanks so much!

and another suggestion maybe you can try an ombre effect on your nails.... pick your favorite color in the dress and have it fade from dark to light?? just another suggestion.

Liz: a deep purple french tip to match the purple shade on your dress.

Jordan: a metallic silver full nail. or just a matte silver/grey.

To Liz and Jordan,Liz, I would do a gradient nail starting with the black at the cuticle then purple then a silver that you apply silver glitter on,just the silver part though!Jordan,I think that whatever color your shoes and accessories should be your accent nail with some nail art decals, and do a blue French mani with matching decal on each.

Liz I think lavender or anything along the lines of purple would look really pretty, and Jordan, you can pretty much do any color, that's what I love about wearing blue.
