I know I have asked in a previous conversation about cruelty free eyeshadows, mascaras, blushes and brushes. I have been wondering what is ya'lls favorite when it comes to these two things.

I don't really have preferences when it comes to mascara, but OCC is a completely vegan, cruelty free line, and I love their products!

There is some chatter that the Yes To brand and Korres sell in China and are no longer cruelty free, does anyone have some information on this?

I know that Yes to Carroots brand is no longer cruelty free, but I am unsure about Korres.
As for ELF all their cosmetics are vegan, but some of their brushes are not.

wear none. you can kid yourself that there are cruelty free products but virtually all ingredients have an amount of testing or unsavoury practices in a derivative sense. investigate ingredients such as binders or volume enhancers and you will see what I mean. by the way I have been vegetarian for 32 years... you may as well buy any product as none are truly cruelty free :-(

Dairy isn't cruelty free either- do your homework! Unless you're vegan, you contribute to animal cruelty unfortunately.

Clare, I believe an outlook like that is really destructive. You don't put any effort into ending animal exploitation at all? Then why buy any clothing or electronics or any food at all when at least one person has been exploited because of it? Why donate to charity when the money may be used improperly? Why fall in love at all if so many people have been hurt? I think putting any effort into a positive cause pushes humanity forward, and trying to put some moral beauty into your physical beauty products is a beautiful pursuit. <3
ANYWAY...
Jesse's Girl and NYX are totally fantastic. I'm a Wet N Wild fangirl! They have the whole's awesomest FAQ which lists exactly which products are and are not vegan. I've never seen anything that comprehensive on a beauty website before. I don't personally have any problem with gluten, but they even list that as well. Seriously, check it out: http://wnwbeauty.com/faq.php
