Hi , I was just wandering what people preferred , loose or pressed eye shadow/powder/bronzer/blusher ?

Pressed all the way for me.

I don't really have a preference but I was just wandering the reasons people have for their preferences!

I just find the pressed easier to work with, probably because I'm a klutz. Loose powders always end up all over me and everything else.

I agree with you indie G. I'm pressed all the way!!

I think I'm more so a pressed girl like Mari and Indie. BUT, I will say that I kinda like loose shadows a little more than pressed, but that solely depends on the brand.

Pressed everything.
Well, my favourite face powder is loose but everything else really needs to just be pressed.

pressed! it just seems more convenient to me. I can use it at home, take it with me when I go,etc.

Pressed! I barely touch my loose powder options just because they're messy and not always practical when in a rush. =]

I use to only like pressed but recently have been trying cream and really like it! I love Mac pigments (loose) but that is the only brand of loose that I really like. I have never found a bronzer or blush that I liked I had only tried pressed powder blushes, until I ordered a cream elf one and absolutely think it is the best blush I have ever used and I plan on buying a lighter color for highlight and a bronzing cream one too.

Either or is fine with me. Most of my eyeshadows are pressed though.

Generally, pressed. But I want to play more with pigments/loose eyeshadows.

I don't shy away from products that are loose, but I do like pressed because they aren't as messy to work with.

Pressed. The only thing loose I have is mineral foundation.

I like both for eyeshadows but I like pressed better, just because of the mess factor/ease of application. Same for blush and bronzer. For face powder though I definitely prefer a loose finishing powder for a less cakey look.

I love the color payoff from the loose eye-shadows however I prepare the pressed shadows because they are not as messy as the loose shadows. You don't have to be so careful when handling them. They are also better for traveling because I don't have to worry about the loose shadows spilling in my makeup bag.

Face powder MUST be loose, I have dry skin so I need powder to be ultra sheer

Pressed tends to be more convenient when it comes to travel or when I'm in a rush, but these days I don't really have a preference.

face powder is loose and everything else is pressed

I like both, but I think I may actually like loose a little more.

i like both but 99% of the time i buy pressed just because they aren't as messy. loose powders & eyeshadows, etc. are really hard to travel with.

Pressed for eyeshadows.
As for face powders, it depends on what foundations I'm wearing for the day and the coverage I need.

Pressed usually. Except for bronzer. I like powder bronzer more than pressed.

Definitely pressed, it is so much easier to use and less of a mess. But I do like certain loose face powders.

Pressed for sure. I am to clumsy to handle loose powders or shadows on a daily basis.
