I use both for different occasions, seasons, etc. I use liquid foundation in the fall/winter. In the spring/summer I use a powder foundation because of the heat/humidity. Liquid foundation in hot weather can spread and you can sweat it off if it's not properly sealed and even then. I honestly like both equally.

I always like having both but I use them differently. Usually I much prefer liquid because I feel it's a more natural application and I tend to use a finishing powder anyway too.
I use my mac studio fix powder on top of tinted moisturizer to add more color and to keep it lasting longer.

I'm so much more comfortable using liquid, even though I have oily/combo skin - I feel like nothing but powders would dry me out like crazy.

i have major dry skin so liquid & it even gives a very fresh look.. cream or stick foundations are also good for normal to oily skin!! (loose powder always recommended)

I like to use both. In the summer time I like to use a powder foundation and in the winter time I prefer a liquid. I also like to keep a powder foundation around for those days I am rushing out the house.

I preffer to use liquid foundations because of my dry skin, I might use very lightly powder foundation to set the liquid, but it has a lot to do with what I want in the foundation...
lately I've been loving cream foundations though.
and I sometimes mix the foundation liquid or cream with my moisturizer.
so yeah I think thats it.

Liquid. Powders don't give me the coverage I want.

Lately my routine has been Liquid (Revlon ColorStay for Oily/Combination skin), MAC Studio Fix powder... then a little bit of contouring, blush, and highlights... then top all that off with E.L.F. HD powder.
To my surprise my face doesn't look cakey at all, and this routine gives it a nice coverage.

I have oily/combination skin & I like using liquid or cream foundation & set with a powder. I never felt like powder foundation gave me enough coverage that I wanted.

I use to have oily skin but recently it has turned into combination skin, in which some areas are oily (usually my T-zone) and other areas are dry. I prefer to use both most of the time because I like the coverage it offers; however, if I had to CHOOSE between the both I would probably chose powder :)

Liquid, all the way! I have acne, and it's not serve or anything, but I just find that with a powder, it doesn't really cover up anything. It just helps my skin not look so shiny and evens out the skin texture just a little bit. With liquid, it does the job that I'm looking for :)
