I have really bad combination skin! My face gets really dry, and then later in the day wicked oily. So I send up peely and oily... Not fun. Help?!? What types of foundation should I try?

I'd try a shine-reducing foundation, and make sure its mineral so your skin can breathe. I'd use BareMinerals foundation, you can get it fairly cheaply off eBay, and it is such a good foundation!

First off I would recommend Cetaphil cleanser :) It's gentle enough for dry patches but will help control the oily bits as well. Only use toner on areas where you get really shiny, and follow up with a basic, lightweight moisturizer like Aqueous cream.
Carry blotting sheets with - they're a lifesaver.
I love Rimmel Match Perfection and Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. They're both medium coverage and in my experience, great for combination skin. L'Oreal True Match powder is the perfect way to set your foundation, and it won't dry out your skin.
