I've started to use blotting sheets more than piling on the powder :)

My "Holy Grail" of primers came as a recommendation from David of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. At IMATS LA 2012 I was given one from the owners of Nurturing Force and before I had the chance to try it I attended one of the lectures he (David) was giving in which he recommended it. I've been in love with ever since but use it sparingly due to the cost (which is so worth it). I'm actually almost out now but if I used it daily I would have been out long ago. I only use it for special occasions and photos.
On a daily basis I've been using Stay Flawless from Benefit which is fine but it's not my HG primer.

Now if Beautylish would sell it, I'd be buying it more frequently.

Agreed Ben Nye is veryy mattifying. love! instead of reapply powder try shine blot sheets or a shine stopper (worn along w primer) smasbox makes one, Paula's choice shine stopper is my favorite though

Sephora brand anti-shine face primer stays matte..it (mattify instantly while absorbing excess sebrum) doesn't have parabens or synthetic fragrances. What it seems like is that your makeup is oxidizing to the point the oils and ph balance is off..foundation is counter acting with each other through out the day because of a ingredient in your makeup (metal oxides, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, and Zinc oxides.mixing with your oils.I highly recommended the silicone base primer by sephora because its anti shine and helps with this issue. :-) and do your research on blotting tissues because most just push back the oils and dirt through out the day back on to your skin.
