I have recently been using this new face wash, I liked it at first but after 3 days I have started to notice that it's making my skin dry and gross around my mouth and it's making me like crazy. Any ideas on how to make the dryness go away??!?!!

I've heard that if you hav dry skin especially, but even oily skin, you should still moisturize. What kind of skin do you have?

Try an oily cream for a few days to help your skin to go back to its original type.

I have been loading up my face with moisturizer and it's still not working, I even tried putting a lip balm on the dry areas.

Petroleum jelly helps.
apply it on the dry areas, massage and leave it over night.

I agree with Sarah. The wash may just be too harsh for your skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and am rather fond of Philosophy's Purity face wash; very gentle without drying. Marshall's always has it for a song, but it is available elsewhere. To address moisturizing, I recommend Organic, Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (available at any Healthfood store or Whole Foods) and alternate that with Aveeno Positively Radiant (Daily Moisturizer). It has an SPF of 30 and that particular moisturizer is soy based...which is a huge bonus. That shouldn't irritate you and should give you some much needed, routine hydration. For immediate relief, I would pick up some Aquaphor. It's available at most drugstores. Aquaphor is petroleum based and so I would use it to re-hydrate your complexion and then once your skin has recovered, switch to the other products...alternating them. Petroleum- based products can clog pores and lead to breakouts for some people. Everyone's skin is different, naturally, but that is my personal recommendation.
Hope that is of some help.
