Don't scrub your face when you have any break outs, even if they are oh so small. It will irritate your skin and the pimples will turn even worse. Try using normal facial washes, but follow with a toner that clarifies the skin. It's so much better! Kiehls' products are the best for your skin.

Bearing in mind what lucy said If you are looking for a daily scrub use the clean and clear blackhead facial scrub. It's super affordable and really good for black heads and pimples x

Lucy is correct about the scrubbing. My derm is big on face washes with tea tree oil in them. I know CVS and some other drugstores carry them. I'd follow with a toner. Maria Badescu makes an excellent Seaweed one that is gentle. I have crazy sensitive skin and it dies not irritate me. The line is available at ULTA and their webpage. I personally would follow up with a gentle yet effective moisturizer like Cetaphil. Remember not to sleep in your make up and drink loads of water. Avoid products containing parabens or mineral oil. Both clog pores. A little sun also will aid in clearing skin..but very little. Up your Zinc and C intake and snag some Vitamin E. Sleep with your hair up loosely to avoid the transfer of oil and any abrasive acne. For spot treatment, Bare Minerals makes an outstanding heal and conceal product called "Blemish Therapy". If you don't see results or are struggling with deep wounds such as cystic acne..or see no positive changes, I would consult a derm. My best to you.

Ahh...I just found out that Cetaphil is petroleum based and that's not good for those prone to clogged pores. I'd switch that moisturizer up to Aveeno's Positively Radiant Moisturizer, which is soy based and nice and hydrating. It also contains sunscreen, so yay! I'd alternate that moisturizer with Organic Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Whole Foods and any Healthfood store should have it. Good luck. :)
