Help.. please hair gone bad :(

So I had black auburn hair (the red only showed in the light) I decided to change it.. I went to the salon to get my hair died a medium brown color.. She striped my hair and it looked so red! then she put the dye to make it look brown.. the way I wanted it to.. The result was it doesn't look brown its is more red/orange! now I'm going back to get dark brown does anyone know if that will make the red/orange go away??

I'm a stylist myself and unfortunately it sounds like your hairdresser didn't use the right formula! no worries, go back and explain to her that its not what you expected. shell understand. she should also agree to re-color for free! she should've used a green based color to neutralize the red. if your seeing more orange than red, is suggest using a blue based color. since your hair is probly pretty fragile from stripping and coloring, I'd suggest she uses a demi permanant color until your hairs back to health! :) hope this helps!

I'm a cosmetologist too and I agree with Amanda! Call your stylist right away and schedule an appointment- no one wants their clients to be unhappy so give her the chance to fix it!
