From your pictures, I can tell that your hair is pretty thick, but honestly I only use the brushes with nylon on my hair when I want to put it into a neat ponytail. I feel that since they are rough bristles they can tear the hair out. Stick to the natural boar brush because it distributes the oils easily whereas the nylon brushes just might take some of the natural oils out of your hair, and although your hair is oily, when your hair is stripped of it's natural oils it isn't a good thing.

I have pretty oily hair, like after 3 days of not washing it's bad. I know boar bristle bushes are good for even distributing the excess oil but I have pretty thick hair. Should I get one of the boar brushes that also has the nylon bristles in it? I heard those are better for thick hair.
